While there is a decent array of apps installed out of the box on your Huawei Watch GT 4, you can add even more from Huawei's AppGallery for HarmonyOS.

There is a range of additional apps available to install, including everything from a Spotify Controller to a simple calculator, so you'll be sure to find what you need.

Just don't expect many official options - the Huawei AppGallery for HarmonyOS is still very much in its infancy, and the app support pales in comparison to that offered by Apple or Google's Wear OS.

To discover what is there, follow the steps and learn how to install apps on the Huawei Watch GT 4.

1. Open Huawei Health

Start by opening the Huawei Health app on your Android/iPhone. Don't open the standard AppGallery option, as this will show you smartphone apps.

2. Select the Devices tab

4. Install an app from the list
